About Anolle Castings and Engineering

History of Anolle Castings and Engineering

Gary Green

Before Anolle Castings and Engineering was formed in 1994, as an engineering consultant, Mr. Gary Green, the managing director, opened a company called Bulawayo Pattern Makers (Pvt) Ltd. in June 1988.

Its core business being the manufacture of foundry patterns for Zimbabwean foundries and other businesses.

Anolle Castings and Engineering operated in conjunction with Bulawayo Pattern Makers (Pvt) Ltd. This new company expanded its operations to include the manufacture of ferrous and non-ferrous castings, being all grades of cast iron, bronze, brass, and aluminum, with a machine shop to complement operations.

At the beginning of 1997 an agreement was reached between Anolle Castings & Engineering (Pvt) Ltd and Bulawayo Pattern Makers (Pvt) Ltd with a foreign investor for the purchase of premises owned by a company in liquidation named Bulawayo Metal Products (Pvt) Ltd.

A new company was thus formed, named MD Nominees No 19 (Pvt) Ltd, which later changed its name to GCRG Products (Pvt) Ltd, trading as Anolle Castings & Engineering. This new company took over the business and assets of Anolle Castings & Engineering (Pvt) Ltd and Bulawayo Pattern Makers (Pvt) Ltd.
